Geez...its been awhile since i've updated...and i actually have a ton to talk about....some real sad news...some good news...anyways; it'll amount to a pretty long entry....so here i go!
First, the SAD NEWS... i better just get it over with. Lotsa crazy stuff going around school in the past 1-2 weeks. Lots of bad news. First, i already mentioned about the saluditarian (sp?) for our school last year committed suicide...thats in my last entry. Now im hearing that theres an investigation on whether it was suicide or not...i dunno whats up w/ that...i still think based on what ive heard it was suicide though.
Secondly: 2 people from our school, their homes burned down and they made anouncements and were collecting money for them. Thats pretty sad...esp. for around this time of year.
Then...add on to all that is probably the worst thing that happened this past week: This boy from our school (im not gonna put his name up here), was shot and killed Monday night. It was sad. I don't think i knew him...the name didn't ring a bell...but its still real sad. The principal sounded like he'd been crying when he made the announcement last tuesday. Then, on Wed., i found out from the radio and one of my friends all the extra details: The boy's brother had been shot in a drive by shooting two years ago and died from it. This boy who just died had been the only witness, and he was to testify in court. But now, hes killed; so there arent any witnesses. It was so sad....people are so wrong these dayz....
Ok...im sick of all the sad news....i swear...my school is cursed w/ bad stuff!!! So much...crazy stuff is always happening in it or w/ the people who go there....geez. ok...on to some HAPPY NEWS:
1st: SWIM MEET. Saturday we had a swim meet. It was crazy cause there were no starting blocks. Though, i actually like diving off the side of the pool instead of the blocks...you can't slip off them..lol. I had to swim the 200IM (i hate it hate it hate it!!!! its sooo tiring!!!) it was ok i guess.. i did the 100 FLY...i thought mine was pretty bad, but i improved my time by over 5 seconds, which is good. I also swam FLY in the 200 Medley Relay and did a 50 FREE in the 200 FREE Relay. I was out of it though, cause it was a late meet...from like 5:30pm to a little after 9pm. I didnt get home til almost 11pm. I dont like late swim meets. And my butterfly felt so off the whole time. i need to fix that. o well.
2nd: Friday night was Candace's Christmas Party. it was great. Me, Hope, and Stephanie came a bit late though cause first we had went to swim practice. It was so funny!! There were like...about 20 of us there. Fist we just ate and watched Austin Powers in Goldmember (FUNNY movie!!) Then, we started putting in Disney Movies (Little Mermaid, Lion King and Beauty and the Beast) and singing all the songs...it was HILARIOUS!!! Ya had 2 be there...so funny. And Damon was acting stupid...lol...he was all loud! Then, around 10:30 or so, people started getting sleepy...and Damon fell asleep. Around that time a few people started leaving. It was funny...everyone was tripping on the stairs and falling when they were leaving or going to get more food! so funny....Hope fell twice!! i was laughing so hard..lol. We left around 11:30pm or 11:45. It was so funny. Then, when i got home, i was getting ready to go to sleep....and i tripped up the stairs!!! I got this big bruise on my knee now...geez... lol.
Then YESTERDAY my family had a little Christmas party. It was my family, my aunt/uncle/3 cousins/grandparents then Lindsay, Shadonna and Sharis. And Choi was SUPPOSED to come, but she never came... (note to Choi: where were you??? i called ur house 6 times and no one anwsered!! lol...its ok tho) NE wayz...it was fun. First, when Lindsay came we played some air hockey. Once everyone was here, Me and Sharis played against Shadonna and Lindsay (w/ Steph teaching Lindsay) in spades. i miss the spades days....i loved that...freshman year...lol. it was fun. Then we ate (waaaay 2 much food...) and talked for a long while...good conversations. Then, we played "Catch Phrase" w/ my aunt and cousins...it was funny. We went through like 8 games of it. Very entertaining. yup. that was about it....time flew by. But i had fun.
And thats pretty much it....Christmas Break started Saturday....and im off school til Thursday...its so gay how we gotta go 2 school for 2 days then a weekend comes....but thats our school system for ya! lol
