hey guyz!!! YAY! no skool 2day!! snow day, snow day, la-la-la-la-la-la! haha. i had a feeling school would be closed: reason #1: mrs. jones predicted no skool...and shes right about 98% of the time.
reason #2: mr. tshirhart wore his snowman tie...and everytime he wears it, snow cancels skool the next day.
reason #3: cause i forgot to ask for a permission slip to the globe club thing for tuesday and was planning on getting it today...so once again no skool screws me over...the story of my life...i tell ya...SOMEONE UP THER IS AGAINST ME!!! lol....j/k

Now 2 get on with the week....pretty eventful. First off, monday was the official start of the new semester; meaning some pples classes changed...including mine. Changes in my schedule: no more SAT Prep 4th period. Instead i get Psychology 2nd period. Then my lunch switches from 2nd period to 4th.
How is all that, u ask????
Weeeeel......IT SORTA SUX!!! Good thing: no more Mrs. Dixon!!! yay! i hated SAT Prep...it was busy work...boring and slow. Psychology...not a b.s. class like i thought it would be...but its tolerable...it goes by pretty fast, which is a good thing. And the teacher..i had her for world history last year, so i kno shes ok.
Now the LUNCH dilemma. first off, i got used to skipping breakfast and just eating at 2nd period lunch...now i cant do that. im not hungry in the morning for breakfast...but my stomach starts growling around the end of 2nd period...and im like...wow...wuz that me?? lol Then, 2nd period was great..lotsa friends in there..we had a good table...it was fun. But now, we got split up when like half stayed in 2nd, half went to 4th and a few got sent to other lunches. And 4th sux!! The HUGE problem: its PACKED!! the cafeteria is full and loud. theres not even enough seats for everyone!! Lots of people just stand there by the walls looking like...ok...i wanna sit now... Then, me and my friends (theres a nice big group of us) came in there...but since we are the ones who got switched into this lunch...we have no tables yet. We weren't trying to take NEones seats they claimed, but there wasn't anywhere for us. So we ended up sitting by these REAL loud, ghetto pple....every other word they say is F*** this and F*** that....im like....EXPAND UR VOCABULARY!! it really irritated me...then another thing...ITS SO LOUD!! ill be trying to talk to jackie...who is sitting RIGHT NEXT TO ME....and i cant hear what she is saying!!! im afraid some day soon ima snap at someone...which isnt a good thing since im not good at comebacks or confrontations...though ive started quite a few...oops...thats my mouth working b4 my mind for ya...
on to other things: report cards came out on wednesday. I got a 3.93 GPA...lower than last quarter (3.96) but i was happy. I GOT A B IN PRECALBC!!! yay!! that made my day....so happy. i thought for sure i had a C...so i ws boosted!! i got 4 A's and 3 B's....B's in precalBC, AP US History (its Adkins...what can u expect??lol) and AP physics B. i thought i should have had an A in there...but Dr.J's been sorta pissed off lately so ima let the B slide....even though i always turn in my homework ontime...unlike everyone else....and didnt bomb any tests....and i copy all my notes....and i did extra credit....but thats ok.....its ok....im alright...really....(grrr).
OMG...it was funny!!! the day report cards came out...there were no teachers!!! Everyone was like, the teachers weren't there cause they didnt wanna hear the students bitchin about what they got. My precal teacher was like there were 30-somethin teachers absent...im like...wow... i had 2 subs myself that day.
Then yesteray...i had 3 more subs....again, so many teachers were gone. We all were like...where are they all?? they cant hide forever!! (muh-haha) lol. Also yesterday, i stayed after skool. FBLA..i finally went! lol. we are planning a fundraiser for Valentines day...yup yup. lol. then, while i waited for my mom to pick me up, i went in and watched about 15 minutes of the mock trial competition. it was cool! i wanna watch the next one...very entertaining. Go OHHS!! yay! i say Mykella as a witness...she did good! and Ashley (i think thats her name..) one of our lawyers...she did good too! And Rajni!! i didnt see her stuff, but i saw her object alot...yay! i was like...yay! lol. Mr. Zachman was in there too...he was happy...Rajni was all like...Objection! Lack of experience (or somethin like that) and mr. zachman was all like "yes! good! good!" lol YAY! lol. ok...well thats all ima blog about now...fingers tired of typing keys....

Thursday, i had to get up at 6am for swim practice...not bad. I cant really remember what we did....but i like swim so i think it was okay. lol. Then, Valerie came over around 1pm to work on our science fair project. Working in a group os SO much funner (i kno Lindsay that this isnt a word...but ima use it NEwayz) than by urself. We're doing our project on sound insulation; so me made a little model 1-roomed house and put different materials on the walls for insulation. Then we put a sound meter inside, and played the first 15 seconds of "Hakuna Matata" loud on the radio and saw how loud the sound was inside the room. Pretty easy project. lol. it was funny. Making the room...we used sheet rock; so we had 2 cut it with like a knife. But sheet rock sorta crumbles, and it was making us cough and stuff...it was funny. lol And I HATE "Hakuna Matata" now....trust me...you play the first 15 seconds of a song really loud 25 times in a row...and then tell me how much u hate that song... Oh! And our backboard...HA! it is SO FRUITY!! lol...think "tropical skittles"... haha. Val had 2 leave at like 6:30pm..so were not completely done. But shes typing up the data and results and ill put them on the board and finish decorating..then we'll be done! I can guarentee our board will be different from every other one...we have a "special" way to decorate the board..but im not gonna share it now cause someone will copy me (haha! u dunno what i kno!! lol) NEwayz....

Friday afternoon i went to the mall...mostly to pick up b'day presents for pple. I got Valerie's late present...i never am on time w/ gifts... and got Shadonna's. And i picked up Hope's...her b'day isnt til March but i found this really cute thing that i just HAD to get 4 her...i think its so cute!!! lol. and Hope, if ur reading...ull get ur Christmas present w/ ur b'day one, k? lol...im late for one, early for another...nothing goes my way...lol.
Friday night i went to Shadonna's new house for her 17th b'day party/sleepover...it was SO FUN! lol. it was me, steph, shadonna, kayla, symian, danelle, danelle's sister Samantha, and shadonna's family/relatives. it was great. we talked about lotsa slow stuff...lol..had 2 be there. And we played "Catch Phrase," "Outburst," and cards and stuff. lol...we played Ameican Idol..lol...3 of us were judges and the rest of us were Idol rejects from the shows...lol...i was Edgar...u kno..the one who wouldn't leave! haha. that was funny. what else was there...hmm....i dunno...o yeah..we played hide and seek in the dark..that was funny... Around 2:30am we raided Shadonna's HUGE dvd collection and watched Vertical Limit....ok movie..i wouldnt buy it..it was a little disturbing how everyone kept dying. I got no sleep...Shadonna's brothers!! mayn they are CRAZY! lol. they were all loud and i kept thinking they were gonna do something..they threw some stuffed animals and some other stuff...but yeah...i got no sleep. id shut my eyes for a minute or two then wake up...then before i knew it it was 8:00am..o well. around 9 we turned on Urban Legends 2 cause Symian wanted to see it...really gross and a pointless plot...but not too bad. lol. i had to go at 10:00am on saturday..so that was all. very fun..nice seeing Shadonna again. o yeah!! and her little brother is SO cute!! hes like 2 yrs. old....and he is soooo cute!! he was copying us..lol aww..

When i got home i did a little homework then had to go to a swim meet...we went against Suitland and High Point. i was like....AAHH!! i had NO SLEEP the night before...so tired....i thought id drown in the water...but im here and typing this so ya kno that didnt happen. :) i swam breast stroke in the 200 free relay,the 200IM, the 100FLY and did the 400 free relay. Both my relays were great. my 100 fly SUCKED!! i mean..i beat people...but i gained time and i KNO i coulda done better. i just ave up...i was too tired...i had done the IM right before it and that took up all my energy..and since i hadn't slept that night i was running off no energy. yup. that sucked. My 200IM was great tho!!! I DROPPED 10 SECONDS!!! BOOSTED! NEVER have i dropped that much time in the IM in one meet! i was happy...i worked real hard for that... I went from 3min 50sec. to 3min. 40sec! so happy...ok..lemme get off it before i sound all big-headed or egotistical (SAT word, haha!) The meet went well tho...my cousins and aunt and grandparents came...was like a freakin family reunion..i didnt kno they all were gonna come...usually swim meets go unnoticed... so i talked to them in between events....cheered on my Clipper pple...yeah...i had fun.

And today was chill day....did homework...played Sims...am updating my blog...tada! lol
o yeah...on a serious note...the whole Columbia thing...sad news. I kno NASA's going through some tough times now. i keep thinking what it would be like to be in space...and its the day your supposed to land and see your family again...and then something goes wrong...and i guess it just blew up... my prayers go out to the families and austronauts... I got this prayer for the Columbia crew in an email. its sweet but sad. just thought i'd share it... buy guyz!
