:::ITS FRIIIIIIIIDAY!!!!:::: ::happy dance...::
Hey guyz! mayn...ive been waiting for this day all week....FINALLY a weekend!!I badly need to catch up on all the work ive not been doing...and i need a BREAK! Stress!! Junior year is so much stress!!! Geez...May is gonna be unbearable! with AP exams and college fairs and the SAT and all that shiz...o well..ill float that boat when i get there. :)
I really dont have much to blog about. ::racks brain for something to write.....nope...nope...nope...DING::
O yeah...the BOYS WON THEIR BASKETBALL GAME! This was a big game. Like i said in my previous entry ::scroll down ya lazy bum..:: both the girls and the guys basketball teams made it to the..hmm..whats it called?? its that game right before the HUGE game. Anyways..the girls lost (it was close tho 4 points!!...daym ref..) but the boys won! CLIPPERS! whoo-hoo! yeah...so the guys play some school i never heard of before for..i think its called the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!!! (in YOUR face, Roosevelt!!! ha!) So yeah..i probably won't go (little brother's birthday this weekend...darn...) but i hope they kick butt! ok...thats all really for skool news....had a fire drill today..big whoop...overall a boring la-la-la day.

Weird stuff on that Elizabeth Smart girl. i just caught a few tidbits on the news..but from what i hear theres lotsa crazy stuff added to the already crazy kidnapped-for-like..-9 months-story. Like...the guy... who kidnapped her awhile later tried to break into her favorite cousin's house to kidnap her cousin so Elizabeth wouldn't be lonley...weird. Then, even stranger...they talked about how the woman who helped kidnap her...the guy's wife...had some kind of revelation or dream or whatever u wanna call it...that Emanuel needed to have 7 wives. And Elizabeth was kidnapped as the first wife. eww...dats sick. Im like...this guys a wacko.
But its sad...because its obvious this guy is psycho..so of course he can plead insanity...and get less of a sentance. Thats why i hate our legal system...there's so many loopholes (its like anyone can claim they are crazy these days...i mean...someone kills their wife..then they're like..."I was temporarily insane"...WTF??!! no..thats called u lost ur daym mind and went off in a rage, and now u wanna get off the hook.) And so many people...even murderers...get set free way before the end of their sentance for one reason or another. Just cause ur sent to jail "for life" don't mean u'll be there forever...ive heard of pple getting out in like 4 years! 4 years IS NOT life. And then we wonder why there's so much crime in America...geez...
ok...im through w/ my news bleep for the day. ya like it? yeah..im starting to actually watch the news...and i even picked up the newspaper the other day (::gasp::) yup. im learning. haha ok ima go...i might be back later...if not...either 2morrow or sunday..so byez!

Lotsa stuff to blog about but u all will get the short version of it all cause 1) i dont have much time online 2) i dont feel like typing, and 3) im in the mood for ice cream so im bout 2 get some. :)

SKOOL: whats new??? actually..this has been a pretty eventful week (with good events...wow...that doesn't happen often!) First off, we registered for classes for next year....WE'LL BE SENIORS!!!! AAAHHH!!! ok..im calm. :) I'll have 5 classes, since our skool is switching to this gay double period schedule where some AP classes last 2 periods: Research Practicum: Engineering (from here on out known as RP...its required), AP English Literature (2 periods), AP Calculus AB (2 periods...im gonna DIE!!!), AP Psychology (i hear its the easiest AP class...plus psychology is kewel) and Products/Structures (a tech class that i need 2 graduate w/ a Science and Tech thing). Yup. i think it will be a pretty good schedule...except for math. o well.
Then today we had a junior assembly about college selection and stuff. it was real rushed cause it was during 1st period and we had to be outa there b4 2nd period because that's a lunch and we were in the cafeteria (since we have on auditorium and no gym..stupid poor skool system...) but it was pretty informative. And the guy was funny....and our pple were funny. Like...the guy was talking about how he knows when we all first got to high school we were all excited about all the new classes and school and having more freedom...then this boy in the back shouts out all loud "FREEDOM!!!" like its some civil rights movement type thing..lol. Then after a bit, the guy's like..."How about we all play a game now..." and then this boy's like "A GAME!" and gets all excited and stuff....pple were just acting slow. lol it was funny.
Also, great news in sports: both our girls AND our boys basketball teams made it to the State Championship games, which are today. (can ROOSEVELT say that??? ::i dont think so!!!:: ha! lol) So ill blog about if they won or not when i find out. Cause of it, we had a pep rally this morning in the Memorial Courtyard. it was cool...band sounded good...cheerleaders were on...our funky lookin mascot was there. And then pple were just going out and dancing and stuff...Damon was acting all crazy and doing somethin...lol it was funny.
I stayed after skool today for FBLA. It was more of a social gathering than a meeting tho cause not many pple showed up and no teachers were there to sponsor the meeting...so we did out own thing. it was funny.

IN REAL NEWS: I just thought this was worth mentioning: Elizabeth Smart (u kno..that girl who disappeared awhile ago and was all over the news..) was found alive and ok yesterday. I think that was nice....a miracle actually. I mean..can u imagine being gone...kidnapped...for like...9 months??? Im like...thats almost a year!!! Thats terrible. And when u think of the odds...most people who are kidnapped like that are usually killed within 24 hours. I just think the fact she was found safe was amazing. Good for her and her family.

AMERICAN IDOL Now for my update: i was pissed...Vanessa (pink hair...weird) was kicked off yesterday. i mean...i dont think she was the best...but she was funny...the shows gonna be missing something now. Personally, i wanted Julia Demano (sp?) to leave. My favorites as of now are Josh (the marine), Trenyce, Clay, Ruben and Kimberly (the blonde one). this is in no real order. and some of the othrs are cool too...but all this will change in time....thats the problem w/ this American Idol: most of them are pretty good...but none of them really, really stand out..and i dont think i'd buy any of their cd's yet. Last year...it was all about Tamyra....she was my favorite from the start and i was SO pissed when she got kicked off...but its all good...shes making a cd and i've been watching her on Boston Public. My favorite old ones were (in this order): Tamyra, Kelly, Justin, EJay, RJ, Christina. and thats all....no more.

hey all! Hope is 17!!! yay! lol. She had her b'day party saturday night. it was fun! Pple who came were me, steph, hope (duh, lol), alanna, thomas, anthony, mykella, jonathan, thomas, ricky and then hopes sister was there and her mom and stuff. it was 80's themed. it was great! We played Duck Hunt (i had the lowest score..boo), and then we played 2 80's trivia games on teams. my team was me, ricky, mykella and anthony. We won everything! lol. The first game, Hope asked questions on different 80's things; and the second game, she played theme songs from 80's t.v. shows and in teams we had to guess what shows they were. lol..i knew some of them! haha..and when the "Reading Rainbow" song came on...i just started singing along..lol.

Then, we had a tournament of Mario Kart on NES in teams...my team won again. Then we watched this old movie "Welcome to America," it was funny. The whole time...i was looking for this joke w/ a spoon...Danelle and Sharis always last year would be doing it..and im like...what are u talking about?? but i saw it at the very end. lol. it was funny.
And Hope had made some good chicken. yum..and the cake was good too. And we talked anlot and was just joking around and stuff. i had a great time.
Then at the end, we started watching "Sixteen Candles," but around 11pm pple started leaving...and i left around then when my dad came to pick me up. yup. it was fun. well, thats all i wanted 2 blog about. c ya 2morrow!
