hey guyz...mayn...was this a long slow day. First off, i had to get up early to be at skool at 8:15am for the practice AP US History test. and......it actually wasn't that bad. i think it was even better than the english test....i dunno...maybe cause there were no reading passages for the multiple choice. i dunno who my score will be tho. I didnt finish the multiple choice...(as alwayz....the multiple choice kicks my @ss!!) but what i did i think i mostly got rite. Then was the DBQ...i forgot a few things...but i think my essay was pretty darn good. The other 2 essays i didnt think were too bad either....i kno they all weren't perfect...but i think they were at least decent. I remembered lots of stuff...bits and pieces of info was coming back to me. So i actually don't feel bad now. Tho...now i gotta wait and see what i got on it...i hope its not bad... I still need to study for both AP tests.
It was sorta funny tho...everyone was all lookin like they just woke up...(which we all did, pretty much) and we were all acting a little slow.. After and during the 10 minute break we all stood around acting stupid and talking...it was cool tho...i dont feel bad bout the test yet. :)

After testing i went to the mall. I got a pair of jeans and a real cute cell phone cover. Its clear w/ little blue flowers and a blue butterfly on it. :) i also got a mochalatta (aka- cold chocolate coffee) to wake me up. mayn sharis...u got me hooked on it like...a year or 2 ago. lol...i LUV those things! newayz...that was my day. did a little homework...played on the Sims for about an hour....they are coming out w/ a new one sometime in May...Sims: Superstar...i cant wait....that is THE game! lol..sims r sooo cool. haha. ima be around. o...and THANX HOPE AND LINDSAY FOR SIGNING MY G-BOOK!! i luv it when pple sign it...but no one had signed it in like.....forever...u guyz made me feel sPeCiAl...lol :)

oh...i 4got some things earlier...1st...we had a pop quiz in Adkins. i knew we would, cause 1) i announced the day b4 that we'd have a quiz that day...and we didnt, so i knew one was coming...and 2) i left my notes at home by accident (isn't that alwayz how it works??) and then 3) our video topics were due today, so i figured he wouldn't give anyone a pop quiz..but soon after i thought this...i began to think: hmm...thats exactly what he'd want us to think.... so...yeah...as usual there were 3 questions. the 1st one i think i got perfect...i practically recited the whole section of the book on paper (in my own words, of course). The other 2 i dunno. #2 i blanked out, and just sorta wrote little things i tried to remember. #3 i think i did a little better...but i think i left out some big stuff. i guess ill find out how i did monday...
We also had a quiz and BCR in physics...that was horrible. the BCR...grr...i was SO PISSED OFF at my sister.. see...the teacher had told us 2 pages in the textbook to take notes on. we could use our notes for the BCR but not the book, so if u have ur notes u can do good. well....i had done half the notes, my sister did the other half. She has the class 5th per., so she took all the notes to use, then was supposed to give me the notes in 6th period, since we got that class together. Keyword: supposed to.... At the end of 6th period i turned to get them and....SHE HAD ALREADY LEFT THE CLASSROOM!! i had the class 7th period!! i needed the notes NOW!! but i couldnt remember her 7th period, so i had to do the BCR w/out notes...and i knew nothing so i b.s.ed it.. it was horrible...i was beyond pissed off. then in 8th period, i saw her and started getting mad..and shes all..."oops!" im like....OOPS??!! i failed!! i am trying for A's this last quarter...this better not drop me. then, the quiz i did bad...partially cause i couldnt find anything in my notes to help, partially cause i ran out of time and partially cause i was so pissed off at steph i couldnt think straight. grrr...

ok...im calm. lol. o yeah. Chasity this morning tried to cornrow my hair. She only did one, cause...i think it was Iris...had wanted to see what it would look like. it hurt like SHIZ!!! she did it soo tight! my scalp was all red...it hurt!! why would anyone go through such TORTURE just to get their hari done???? why?! i never knew i was so tender-headed...but hey...im white! lol. my hair isn't used to being pulled tight....my styles are down or in a ponytail...and ponytails aren't tight! geez...that was hurting for awhile...tho im a bit interested to see what it all would look like...lol

ok...im slowly calming down about the AP tests. i panicked in Lindsay's guestbook, and shes online...whew...helped calm me down a bit. and hope signed my g-book. im happy...no one ever signs it anymore...i like seeing signatures! lol and she gave good advice...ya win some ya lose some...i guess tomorrow ill lose some...but maybe then i can climb back up the ladder for the real test.

its finally friday.....hmmm...lemme say it w/ some more enthusiasm....its FRIIIDAY!!!! geez....dat wuz sooooo fake... sorry...today wasn't just the best of fridays. skool overall was pretty uneventful...stayed after for AP english practice...thats why im in such a lousy mood. Well...actually..the practice wasn't bad...its just knowing what im practicing for. This year has been soooo stressful....and the worst is yet to come. The AP tests are the week after next..im taking the AP US HIST. test and the AP ENG. LANG. test...that was $160 bucks...i dont want it to have been a waste. I at least wanna do good on one of them....if i get through just one ill be satisfied. I want a 3 on them. A score of a 3 is enough to get me into most colleges...i think all the ones in MD accept 3's, which is where i might go. Im really considering staying in MD for college...i heard Towson is nice..and it has my major...is right outside of Baltimore...just a bit over an hour from where i live...it sounds nice. Im really thinking that at least for my first 2 years ill stay in MD. Ill get in-state tuition that way, and it will probably be easier for me to get a scholarship...i need a FULL ride. My sister is going to college the same time i am...its gonna be hard for my parents to pay for us both. So im trying to set realistic plans.

Tomorrow, i gotta be at skool by 8:15am...yeah...i kno tomorrows a saturday. but my hist. teacher is giving a practice AP test in the "senior lounge." i need to practice BADLY, so im going. I must admit...as ghetto, run-down and overcrowded as skool is, i really appreciate the teachers here...well...most of them....some of them...hmm. Well, just about all of my teachers this year are great.....adkins...anderson..some others..they help us all so much. they hold after school classes to get us ready for AP tests...they offer to tutor if u need help afterskool and sometimes during lunches...if u got a problem u can talk to them....they all do so much to help us out. i really....really appreciate all the help. They don't have to do all of this, but they do it anyways. I had a few teachers who are like...i get here at 9:30am and leave at 4:10...thats all the contract says and thats all im doing.....most of my teachers arent like that. its so nice how they actually care. ok...sorry...sentimental thoughts...lol.

Hey all! gee..this week has been pretty ay-ok homework wise...tonite i was done working by 8:30...yay! So now im 1) blogging (duh..) and 2) looking for a topic for our next history video.
Recap of tuesday-today
Tuesday: Was a pretty boring day...then, i stayed afterskool for Adkins...that ended at about 5pm. But that night was our Winter Sports Banquet (finally!!) and i stayed for swim team. :) It was kool. i hung out w/ Jonathan, Sean, Meery, Gonzo and a bunch of us swim pple til about 6:30, when it started. The banquet itself was fun...we all joking around and stuff. Good food....TONS of KFC and fried chicken....yum...and some real good brownies and all sorts of other stuff. Then awards and stuff was given out. I got the most improved Fly trophy...i was happy...i didnt think id get anything this year. And of course i got another varsity letter/pin thing and certificate. But the bestest news: me, steph, ian and hope are next years swim team captains!!! YAY! i was happy...i just needed ONE thing to put on college applications where i was actually in charge and holding a position in something....and i luv swim team. But it was a funny night. lotsa joking around. only sad stuff was that (sob) our senior swimmers are leaving!! NNNOOO!! i was talking to Sarah in the end. She'll be going to Elon University in NC next year....boo....but she said she will come back and watch a meet or two...so thats good. ima miss all those pple...we're gonna SUCK without them..... :(

WED: we had a messed up schedule cause of some state test some pple had to take. We were to be stuck in 1st period for like 4 hours, then go to 7th, then 8th, each for about an hour. So...my english teacher decided to give a practice AP English Language exam in that 1st period slot. Us test-takers were moved to the "senior lounge" (which has stopped being a lounge since my freshman year, and now serves as classrooms...for our overcrowded and under-funded sucky skool....) to take the test. I sat at a table w/ Jorge, Mykella, and Bohemia. The test was in two sections: 1st hour is reading 4 passages and multiple choice on them, and the other 2 hours are for 3 things u gotta read and 3 essays u gotta write. Multiple choice was first: i blew it... i got lost on the second passage and quit timing myself, and since i wasted so much time on that i didnt even get to the 3rd and 4th sections...crap. I kept getting distracted...Mykella i could see was moving all fast...Jorge was joking around, making this bubble sound....and then this ant kept walking across my paper, so i'd pick him up (w/ my paper) and move him away...but he came back 3 times!! til finally, Jorge saw it and picked it up and put it on the floor...lol. The essays were a bit better. I dunno how well i did the first two...but the last i thought was great...and time wasnt a problem cause i finished them all w/ 5-10 minutes to spare on each one. But it was so funny...cause after awhile on the essays everyone was getting restless....Greg (B.) was waving his arms around...Mary kept laughing...Sarah was choking on a straw (lol), Greg (C.) was trying to dance (keyword: trying...lol), and Jorge had got up, sat on the floor and was writing on his paper in his chair...lol..it was quite funny. When we were freed, the teacher let us go to lunch, but i went w/ sarah, iyen, iris, anna, amanda, mykella, and a few others to Mrad's room where wwe talked alot ad joked around. Then, i went to 7th period, where me, sarah and McClain drew horrible pictures of eachother on the dividers in my binder. Then, i played a wild game of Egyptian Rat Race (LUV that game...) w/ a bunch of pple...it was funny...we kept hitting eachother...lol. Then there was a fire drill...then 8th period..but i didnt go. We had a sub in there, so i stayed in my 7th period and me, McClain and Anthony did our math homework together. yup. that was that day...

TODAY: nothing real interesting happened today...been staying afterskool all week for adkins...dats all. oh...at lunch there was...i dunno what u'd call it...like a DJ or some1 playing loud rap music in the cafeteria...it was supposed to be advertising for a spring fling dance the broke @ss seniors are sponsering so they can earn some last minute $$. Very ghetto. but hey...dats OH for ya...
o yeah...my english teacher had scored the multiple choice part of the practice AP test...its done like the real AP college test. I didnt do too good...the weighted score for the multiple choice was....an 18.125.....geez. dats low. Put it this way...I NEED at least a 3 on the entire test.... meaning on all the essays...i need at least a 6 (out of 9) on EACH essay to get the BAREST minimume of a 3....two 6's and a 5 wont cut it...i need all 6's or higher...thats pushing it for me... I feel bad...thats one of the lower scores....its a big blower....i NEEDc a 3 on the test...i kno this one is just practice...but what if i do the same on the real one?? the real test is the week after next!! and this practice multiple choice sucked...... all i can say is.....daym that ant......

wow...i actually have FREE TIME 2nite...shockers.. But i dont really feel like blogging...no offense..lol...but i just wanna chill now. I actually have some work i could do...look for a history project...we are making our final video soon...and i need a topic. And i got geology....ill do it later...yup...now thats procrastination in action. :) Today was the first day of skool after break...not to bad. I had 2 subs...and we didnt do much in any of my classes..or maybe it just didnt seem like much. Lately, ive just sort of been there. Ive gotten so used to this hectic junior year. I count down the days til breaks, do my work and dont think about things i wish i could be doing at the moment. Actually...it strangely puts me at peace...like i just go through my day...eat...go to skool...stay after for something...go home....do work...eat....sleep....do it over again. but hey..its all good!

WWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH! lol...sorry...im on and off watching that American Idol thing 2nite...and Clay just came on...mayn...he can SING!!! Though my favorite is Ruben...he is so great!! mayn! lol. Maybe 2nite ill catch a peak of that "Mr. Personality" show. it actually looks real retarded to me..i mean C-O-M-E- O-N!! They got MONICA LEWINSKY as the host!! now u KNO thats gonna be a flop...lol. but i love reality t.v....though most of it i think is cheesy or so retarded....but i like it...at least it makes for good conversations. But this show looks dumb....all the guys are wearing those masks...so we can't even look at cute guys! i couldn't be the woman on the show...the masks look so scary..id have nightmares...like...ahh!! the green face is gonna kill me!!! lol j/k but yeah...its starting so ima lookee see. :)

Spring break began last saturday and ends tonite...daym. lol. That saturday, me, steph, danelle and meery went to the mall and movies. It was fun. We finally saw "Bringin Down the House." very funny move. i liked it. Then we wandered around the mall, went into Spencers (danelle discovered Spencers...very funny. lol. she liked that store a little too much lol j/k) and got ice cream and stuff... We went to the arcade in the mall and played games. And there was a carnival going on in the parking lot, so we went there and blew a few bucks on games. lol...Meery won a slinky, then as soon as she opened it it got tangled up. haha lol. But it was real fun. And in the food court we saw Myra and Estella. yup. but it was a great day. gotta do that again. actually, the 4 of us decided our next outing should be bowling...haven't done that in ages, so that should be fun. :)

Last Sunday i spent 8-9 long hours in the car to South Carolina. And the biggest thing i got to blog about now...I GOT A JOB!!! yay!! Its at this arcade and snack bar in Myrtle Beach. I work the snack bar. On Monday, me and my sister went in for training at 11am. At first, the boss (Brian) was telling us everything...and i was like....oh...wow...im lost. But i got the hang of it pretty fast. Then, around 4pm, he asked if one of us could stay and work the night shift from 4pm to 10pm, so i was like ill do it. it was cool. Then, i also worked the night shift on wed. and fri. It was cool. and i got paid!! yay! And im going back down in the summer and he said me and Steph will probably work the day shift (which i think is from 9am to 4pm) 5 days a week. And i get paid...$7 an hour!!! BOOSTED!!! lol. i was expecting like...minimum wage...in the $5 range...but YEAH BUDDY!!! And the job is cool too. I work the cash register...cook...we make lots of stuff....cheese sticks, fries, burgers, hotdogs, pizza, ice cream, funnel cakes, subs, barbeque, nachos, milkshakes, smoothies, sno cones...lots of other stuff too. i LUV making smoothies...they are so easy and fun...and they taste good! o yeah...another bonus...while i work i can eat whatever. i had dinner there while i worked...tho usually all a want is a smoothie. they are sooo good. The thing i hate making tho...MILKSHAKES!! omg...the first time i did it...i put WAY too much milk in it an the stuff went flying EVERYWHERE!! and i was all like..."I HATE milkshakes!!!" And Brian is all laughing at me...and im like..."I dunno how to make these things!! And that was my 1st one...so dont laugh at me!!" the milkshake machine is harder than it looks...its one of those old ones w/ the little disk at the end...i hate it! lol. But yeah...Brian showed me how to make one. but while i was cleaning up my mess, he threw away the leftover milkshake in the cup. but i think he missed the sink when he went to throw it out, cause then he was like "o darn...i just made a BIG mess..." but then he turns and looks at me and starts laughing...then is like "But not as big as you did!! hahahahaha! and im like....its not that funny!! AAAAAAAHH! lol. o well. i made another milkshake friday...my second shot. it came out pretty good..i think it was a tad thick....but hey..it looked good. But yeah...i luv my job. and Brian, and his wife who also sometimes works there, Trish...they both are cool. Then, the last night i worked w/ Becky, who works there...shes in ther last few months of college...shes cool too. So its great. And ill get to meet pple there....already pple were recognizing me...which i like cause usually when i spend my summer there i just hang out w/ my cousins. so yeah...its great. And when no one is wanting food or when im not busy, its still cool cause the pool is rite outside so u got a great view of all the hot guys *cough* er...i mean....the pool...and the people in it..yep..lol. And then, the arcade got some new games since last summer...and one of them is the DDR thing! yay! and i got a good view of that from the snack bar too, and thats cool to watch. There was this one guy who came quite a bit...he was REAL good! i mean...he'd put it on the hard levels and be like...breakdancing on it! there are bars on the back of the thing, and he'd swing around them; and he'd use his hands and feet and do all this stuff..it was cool. Brian is pretty good at it too. but yeah...i think this summer's gonna be great. I got a fun, good-paying, fairly easy job...its by the beach and the pool...o yeah...ima like it. lol.

Also over break, besides working, i went swimming most days. In the indoor pool of course...i dont care if there were some pple in the ocean or outdoor pool...it was warm...but still too chilly to swim outside....75 degrees is NOT enough to swim outside...i dont care what the locals say...lol. im always cold...i woulda wore jeans everyday there...but everyone else was walkin around in swimsuits and shorts...so i had to crack out the capris just to look a little normal. :) but it was cool. and i got done my homework. retarded skool....giving work over break...but thats ok...it didnt take that long...their plan to ruin my life HAS FAILED!!! ok..now that thats established....what else did i do... o yeah..i saw the movie Holes. it was a pretty good movie. i liked it...i dunno if id buy the dvd...but id like to see it again so it was good. nice family movie. yup yup.
Then today my grandparents came over for Easter dinner...good food...never ate so many veggies in one sitting...lol. yummy! haha...well...im supposed 2 get off now...i think i will...ttyl...HAPPY EASTER!!!
