Saturday...in one week, ill be in Myrtle Beach...yes!!

Friday was a pretty good day in school. Didn't do much. There was a DJ at lunch...i dunno why...i think maybe advertising for the school-wide picnic next friday that we are supposed to have....emphasis on "supposed"...don't get ur hopes up guys....in all my years at OHHS, we never had a picnic. Freshman year it was canceled because of a bomb threat. Sophmore year, it was cancelled again cause over the weekend, a bunch of pple broke into the school and broke all the windos in the basement and i think stole a computer or two. I wonder what will happen this year. I just hope its not another bomb threat...they are so overrated. NEwayz..the DJ was cool...ghetto...nothing but rap (of course)..but i liked it. It was funny...everyone was singin along and stuff...funny.

Didn't work much. 7th period, talked to Valerie alot...argued w/ Adrick...the usual...lol. 1st day w/out McClain. darn...she left us for Michigan...aww...

Found out i have a chance in PreCal BC. I currently have a C in there...but if i get a 70% or higher on the final exam, i can get a "B" in the class. I WANT a B...i got a C 1st quarter, but somehow managed to get a B the other quarters...that was the first C in my life...not as disappointing as i thought it would be...but still a bummer. So...tomorrow...gotta do my portfolio for english...and study the rest of the day for Adkins and Ware's finals.

Oh! I talked to Shadonna yesterday on the phone!! I feel bad...that was the first time i talked to her since her b'day party in february. But we had a good convrsation. She still hates Flowers and wants to come back to Oxon Hill...dunno why...personally, i feel no real attatchment to OHHS. If i had to leave..id miss my friends and some teachers...but the school itself..and administration and everything..it sux..its a joke. Though...i am real defensive about my school...like i can't stand it when pple are hating on us. I mean..its one thing for me and my OH pple to talk about our school...its a whole different thing when outsiders get into it. And...as much as i hate my school...i couldn't picture myself anywhere else...so i guess its ok. :) NEwayz...she said they are pretty much done w/ finals..lucky her. But they got a whole mess of summer assignments...a WHOLE lot more than what we got. She said Flowers is real strict...like they actually get suspended for not wearing there IDs. im like...wow...let our school try that...there wouldn't be anyone in scool!
But she said most of the pple there she doesn't like. She said their ghetto and stuck-up. And...OHers take note: She said Flowers pple hate on Oxon Hill like we wouldnt believe. See...up until early this year...i didnt hate on them. Roosevelt is our rival, along w/ all those northern county rich schools, and any place outside PG. But...this year at a swim meet against Flowers...we are just minding our own business...and they are just talking all this trash!!! we are like...hold up!!! And we just ignored it...and didn't start anything...but they kept going on and on..geez...tempers were flaring.. but we were good..not trying to be disqualified for fighting or anything. But as soon as it was over, we get into the locker room...it was SO LOUD!!! We all just went off. But all the Flowers pple left, except for a few...i felt bad for the few that stayed though...they were all quiet like they were afraid to do somethin...haha. lol. but yeah...since then i have a new look at that place....they are added to my rival list. But yeah..it was nice talkin to Shadonna again...keepin that Clipper pride alive.

Today i went to the movies w/ Meery and Stephanie. We saw Bruce Almighty...very good. it was hilarious. id wanna see it again. But when we left, it was storming alot, so meery called her brother to pick her up, and our plans to go to the mall after were scratched. So we stood outside the movies...it was STORMING!! I mean.loud thunder...lightening...it was pouring mike mad...and the wind was so strong!! The trees were all leaning over. And we were getting wet cause the windwould blow the rain over...i was laughin...it was like that ride at Six Flags...the log you ride down the hill....and you stand on the bridge and get soaked by the splash..lol. The movie ended just in time though, cause a few minutes later, the power went out. haha. close one! :) But it was fun.

Yay!!! Good day for mail!! Today, 2 of my 3 books for summer reading came in...gotta love Amazon.com... i got Lord of the Flies and this nonfiction book..i think its called Tales of Innocence...or somethin...so now im just waiting for Pride and Prejudice.

Then...even better...my class ring came!! Yay! Ill show it 2 u OHers tomorrow. For everyone else...heres a description: its the classic style. The stone is a square Periodot (sp?)...August birthstone (light green...also c/o 2004 color! lol). The ring is 14kt. gold (my mom was mad..i got the expensive stuff...)and around the stone it says Oxon Hill High. Then, on one side it has the swim logo thing, and the other is our mascot, the clipper ship...with a gold/black small jersey under it. It says 20, then 04 on each side. Yup...i like it.

School today was ok...hot. It was Constance's B'day!! And it was McClians last day....noo! Shes moving to Michigan for another school..darn. But ia keep in touch...ive been getting better lately...which reminds me...its bout time i call Shadonna! But yeah...ima miss ya McClain!

Turned in that darn english paper today...omg...i read Damons...its hilarious! Hes all saying "This paper is a piece of sh*t" (it actually said that), and his closing line was "Don't Do Drugs." and the paper is supposed to be analyzing works by Poe, Bradbury, Giovanni, and others...its funny. Speaking of funny...Lawrence rolled up his shorts today, so his shirt covered them, making it look like he was wearing no pants. He did that in eng./graph.class...he was standing by the door and everyone in the hall was all "OMG!! Hes got no pants!" or "What the hell are you doing??" or "Ur GAY!" it was so funny. i tell ya..hot weather gets to pple.

It stormed tonight...ended just a bit ago. Big storm..lotsa wind and rain. the power went out...just came back a few minutes ago. Whew! Its so boring w/out technology!!!

EEEEEK!! What is this??? Blogger changed the setup of its editing screens!! wow...shocker...lol. Its not too confusing though...just somethin else i gotta get used too...


Today was a fairly interesting day. Monday and tuesday were pretty boring, but today was funner (i kno lindsay...funner isnt a word...but it should be...). In the morning, we got out of 1st period for the junior end-of-the-year assembly...it was dumb...basically they remind us to not get expelled or suspended...don't act stupid...try not to fail...don't skip...blah blah...the works.

Lunch today was fun...Constance and Sharis joined me, Steph, Meery, Brian and Danelle. We were actin slow...singing old songs and stuff. Then...Danelle broke out w/ the old Barney songs..and did her own ghetto version of the song thats like "the green grass grows all around all around, the green grass grows all around.." i dunno the name of that song...lol..it was hilarious.


Got my last pop quiz in AP US History back...i got a 15/15 (aka 100%) whoohoo! lol. i thought i did bad..

In Physics, another free day. Seems like we never do work in there. I talked to lotsa pple. Then, it was funny, cause Chris and Paul got into a huge argument about...somethin...i dunno. It started being about Chris talkin about how dark Paul was, then Paul said Chris wasn't light-skinned, he was yellow...they carried on that for awhile...then somehow it got to why Paul is darker than Chris...i dunno...it was funny though. But THEN....John walks by and...how do i keep this PG...."exposes" himself...omg...ive never heard everyone scream so loud before...and trust me...that class is a LOUD class. Dr. J comes out and is like...what?? And everyone is like "Kick John out!!!" lol...gross...hes not even in our class!! lol.

8th period was a test...i dunno how i did...probably bad. Though for the record i did study and i do know how to do it...but i blanked out a few times on certain steps. I know i at least got one right though...lol. I currently have a 76% in there...so unless i do really, really good on the final...i have a C in there. darn....so much for keeping up my B's...

In better news: Im DONE that English paper! Yes! It sux...but im DONE! Now the only project i have...well..before i begin the summer assignments..is to update my portfolio. Thats not due for me til Tuesday though...and its a piece of cake.

Oh! And my friend Jessica, from middle school emailed me the other day! yay! i wrote her back. geez...i miss all those pple...i need to start keeping in touch better. Hopefully, me and Jess will continue to keep in touch...

Speaking of k.i.t.ing.....McClain is leaving soon!! Tomorrow is her last day!!! I HAVE to keep in touch w/ her...mayn...why does everyone have to leave???
