hey all! Done working for the week! I got the weekend off this week, so yesterday was my last day until monday comes around. It was pretty busy friday. And no one was really assigned to run the arcade, so for like an hour i got stuck working the prize booth. I hate running the arcade!! Then, the ticket counter was broken, so i had to count the tickets pple had by hand. People are rolling up in there w/ bags full! im like...i don't have time for this!! So for some i was just like 5.....10...200...ok u got 200 tickets. lol. Snack bar is cool....arcade sux...good thing im only supposed to do the snack bar. then all these pple come compaling to me that their coin got stuck in a machine...or they didn't get any tickets...im like...its not my problem!! I do the snakc bar!! gggrrr! lol. But yeah...i like work...just not in the arcade. :)
Today was a nice day off. I went to the beach around noon (my cousin slept in...lol). Then we all went to the pool. Steph and my cousin had to work the night shift today beginning at 4pm, so we went down a half hour early and played a game of pool before they started. I win! yay! I usually suck at pool. Its all luck for me. haha. After that, i went for a bike ride...read a bit...ate dinner...went for a walk....hmmm...dats all folks!! :)

hey guyz!! i am so bored rite now....Steph and my cousin are at work...they don't get off til 11pm....so im all alone....boo-hoo...

Mayn...lol...i was sooo confused this morning! see...i went to bed at like...1:30am yesterday...and i have to get up at 9:00am so i can get to work at like...9:30. Well...lol...i woke up and saw it was real sunny outside. So, i rolled over and looked at my watch (the only way to tell time here...unless u look at the oven in the kitchen). Well...i was still half-asleep and didn't have my glasses on...so i look at the watch and am like...Shit!! Its 9:25!! I gotta be at work in 5 minutes!! So i jump up and am like...darnit!! And Steph, who i share a room w/, is like....huh? its 9:00 already? So she goes and looks at her watch and is like...mine says its only 6:50am. So...i go and check the oven clock....it also says 6:50.. im like...{sigh of relief}. But then i look at my watch again...now i see it also says 6:50. How the hell i got 9:25 out of 6:50...i dunno...but lets just say i was VERY relieved. So i went back to sleep til 9.

Then i went to work. Today i worked w/ Trish, and then Ben worked the arcade part. Its funny working w/ them. And today Trish had her three little kids there cause they started crying and having a fit when she was gonna take them to daycare. They are so cute, but they were getting in to everything! Like, for the arcade, Trish had brought in a big bag of prizes to put up, includint some survival knives. Well...one of the little boys got into them and opened one, then swings it around like he was gonna cut the other little boy! So i was like..oh no...and took it from him. Then the little girl picked up one of those candies where theres the stick at the packet of powder u dip to eat it....and she opens it and the blue powder candy is getting all over the floor. Then she kept wanting me to pick her up and swing her around. She was also chasing Ben, and she bit him!! lol. i was laughing at that.

Today was pretty busy at work...went through a whole lot of hot dogs and smoothies...they were probably the bestsellers of the day. The whole time Ben was counting down the clock for when the shift was over. It was funny. Then, when he didn't have any customers, he takes out his cd player and starts singing some song real loud...i was like...o geez...can't even carry a note...lol. it was a pretty fun day of work.

My shift ended at 4pm, and Steph and my cousin came in cause they have the night shift this week. So i clocked out and went home. I took two bike rides around the lake and along the beach. Had dinner...crab cakes...yum...soo good...then went for a walk. Dropped by the arcade/snackbar and said hi to Steph, Andrew and Becky. I was so bored...Becky was like...u actually wanna work?? I felt bad for her...shes been working double shifts just about everyother day this week. Its not really that i wanted to go back to work....it was just...everyone was there and i get bored so easily by myself. NEwayz...i went home and read some of a book for our summer work. I set up a timetable for this first book...i should be done reading it by the 5th. yup...hopefully i can stick to that schedule...

well...ima look for somethin 2 do online....blog later....peace.

Hey all. Today, i did nothing much except go 2 work...i love having a job! I know its just for the summer but...i love it. lol. Today i worked w/ Becky and Ben, which was great cause both of them are cool and on time (lol...we didn't have a repeat of yesterday..lol) It was fun...i like working...it feels so good being on the other side of the counter! haha. But..yeah...interesting stuff.

See...Becky has been looking for her father whom she never knew. Cause her parents married at a very young age...like 16...and it didn't last long, so she never knew her father. Well, she's been looking for him, and after finding all this family she never knew she had, she finally got ahold of him! i was like...thats soooo cool!! So she was happy. Though today, she was trying to figure out how to tell her mom all this...cause her mom didn't even know that she was looking for him. So me and Becky talked alot about that. Sounds like a movie...i think thats sweet though...family reunion!

NEwayz...work was cool....had a huge rush of pple for smoothies...that was a bit hectic..but smoothies are easy to make so it was okay. Cheese sticks and nachos also sold very well today. And we didn't have many problems...except the pepsi machine started acting up while i was filling a cup, and the pepsi sprayed everywhere...darn it...but we refilled it and it was fine. And i knocked the sifter we use for funnel cakes behind the freezer...but i was able to get it out later and clean it off. lol. And then Trish stopped by to drop off some more food items and new prizes for the arcade. One prize was a mini pool table set, but Becky opened it to see what it looked like, then some of the little balls fellout and rolled all over the floor. So me and Becky had to more the freezers and stuff looking for the balls...we eventually found them all. :)

And then today...aww..it was so sad. This guy came in...he looked about my age...maybe a year or two older...NEwayz. He came in wanting to buy an ice cream cake for his grandfathers birthday. He was having a party for him that was to start in like...a half hour. Well...we have ice cream...but can't make ice cream cake. But theres a Walmart practically around the corner, so we suggested he go there. Well...he doesn't have a car....so Becky offers to call a cab for him. He says okay, and she calls. Then, he asks how much the cab might cost. Becky was like...probably less than $10 since its right around the corner. Then, he asked how much a cake would be, and she said probably about $20. Then he was like...darn...cause he only had $20. So he waited and waited thinking...then finally was just like...never mind but thanks anyways. He left a tip, then left. We were like...i feel so bad... But then..it was funny cause this guy comes to the counter. Im like...can i help you? And hes like..did someone call a cab? He was the driver! lol! I was like....no....cause the guy had left. Then i walked to Becky and was like...the cab driver is here. And shes like...."no one used this phone to call a cab." lol. So then, i hear the driver shouting in the arcade "Anyone call a cab?!" it was funny. So i just go on and help a few customers, then Ben comes in the back and is like "Theres a cab driver out there asking everyone if they called a cab." And we are just laughing. Finally he left...poor guy...but what were we supposed to do?? He looked mad! lol.

funny funny funny...i hope the guys grandfather got his cake though....

Im in Myrtle Beach! oh yeah!! I got down here saturday evening....about an 8 hour drive...whew!! My cds were getting very old...newayz...it wasn't that bad...
Heres an update on stuff:

SUNDAY:
I went to the beach/ocean and then later the pool...fun fun fun. I love the ocean...waves are cool...except Stephanie got stung by a jellyfish...ewww.. Strange...i rarely see jellyfish here...and ive never been stung by one down here. oh well...glad it wasn't me. Then, we went to the mall..the mall here sux...no real good stores except maybe Aeropostle and JC Penny's...there isn't much of a selection. But there, we went to the movies and saw Italian Job. That was a GREAT movie! It was funny and lots of action..cool plot and all. It makes me want a mini cooper....lol..
Then much later on we went to this outlet mall. It is better than the real mall...has Old Navy...a Sketchers store...i luv sketchers...i kno i kno...preppy...lol...but they are nice!! I didn't buy anything tho.

MONDAY
I started working. I work at the Arcade and Snack Bar here. It is cool! right by the pool and all. I worked from 9:30am to 4pm (the day shift.) I worked w/ Becky, a college student..i think this is her last year of school. We did the snack bar. I worked w/ Becky once in the spring. Anywayz, shes real cool so i like working w/ her. Then...this guy Ben was supposed to do the arcade at the same time we did the snack bar. Well...he never showed up, so around 10:00am, we were able to get my cousin, Andrew, to come and work the arcade during the day, though he had been supposed to work the night shift instead. But Ben came at night so it all worked out. yup yup.

TODAY (tuesday)
Today was...hilarious. I was gonna work w/ Trish, who is the boss's wife (sorta co-boss) and then Ben was gonna do the arcade. Well...lol. I was told by Becky to comein around 9:30 cause the place opens to the public at 10:00am. And thats when i came in on monday, so i got there today around 9:34am only to find the lights out and the doors locked. And im waiting there...and after awhile this little boy comes over wanting to get in and play games. But i told him its locked, so we stood there talking for awhile. Around 9:45, Ben comes up. Im just like..."please..tell me u have a key..." and hes like...no. lol. So the three of us are standing there. And me and Ben are joking around about how bad it is when ur boss is late...and how we should be the ones strolling in late. And pretty soon there is a whole mess of kids and stuff waiting to get into the arcade...and im just like...its locked.. Well...Trish pulls in arounf 10:10am...we're like...its about time!!!

But...that wasn't the end of it. We all go in...and the alarm goes off. So Trish goes to shut off the alarm...but doesn't know the code!! The thing is super loud. And we are really late, so im running around the snack bar area turing on fryers and ovens and things and filling the sno cone and smoothie machines w/ ice...and Ben comes in there like "The kids want me to fix the machine..but im not going out there til the alarm gets turned off. And no wonder...the alarm was loud in the snack bar area...but once u go into the arcade it was like...wow. The little kids were running around holding there ears. Finally it cut off...then came on again...and again..and again.. About ten minutes later it was shut off for good...but my ears were still ringing even after it was off...

Then pple started coming in for hot dogs and ice cream and stuff...but the hot dogs weren't ready yet, and the cash register was off, so i couldnt make change...so finally i got Trish to turn it on and it was all good. whew! But i mean...why do u need ice cream at 10:00 in the morning??? I was like....chill out!!

But the rest of the day was good. We had a huge rush around..i dunno...1:30 or 2:00...that didn't stop til like...15 minutes before my shift was over at 4pm. Made lots of smoothies and cheese sticks...though i like making smoothies and cheese sticks are easy...only problem was that only one of our fryers was working, so it took longer to make. There were 2 big lines...it was real hectic. But it was cool.

And we got tips!! We have a tip jar on the counter. And the first time this guy dropped in a dollar...and me and Trish were both like "Yay!!!" lol. It was fun today though. Trish and Ben are both cool. Though Ben kept teasing me cause most of the time he wasn't doing much cause all the machines worked well. So while i was rushing around getting food and taking orders, he was all like "Having fun??" or he'd go and get some food for himself and be like "While im notdoing anything, i guess ill get some lunch." im like...haha...very funny. But it was cool. I luv my job....
