:::Just got back from UD!!!:::

OMG!!!! The University of Delaware is sooo tight! it is great...i love it! Its a pretty big campus...but not too big. Its really pretty....nice lawns and architecture and brick buildings and walkways and all. The programs sound nice and all classes are taught by real professors (not TA's)....the professors are accessible...lotsa majors and courses to pick from. And college life seems great! Frats and sororitys arent a huge thing (which is good cause i dont care for that sort of thing), and there are lotsa campus hangouts. Theres even Main Street which runs through the campus and connects it to the town. Theres all sorts of shops/bookstores/restaurants/a movie theater/etc. there. It just looked so cool. im applying. I need to do more research on schools tho. I got 1. Towson 2. UD. thats all....i want at least 2...maybe 3 more to add to my list...then i gotta start applying.

I also badly need to look for aid....im not going to PG....no siir....

Yesterday was okay...nothing really great, but it wasnt a bad day either. Had a test in Calculus...grrr. I hate math. But i only think i really bombed one problem. daym those logarithms.

Driving school was canceled for some reason yesterday. We drove over there, and as we pulled in this girl in my class said that class was canceled today. There was a sign on the door, but i didn't take the time to read it, so i dunno why we didn't have class. oh well. I got a little more sleep than usual last night...went to bed at 11pm. but strangely, im still tired this morning. Ive been real tired all week....i think i just need one good day to sleep in til about noon. yeah...that should do the trick.

Ricky signed my guestbook. i love when pple sign my guestbook. makes me feel like some of u actually are interested in my day and what i have to say....how nice.... :)

Looked at colleges this morning online. Im going to the University of Delaware on Saturday to check it out. Looks nice online and in the viewbooks, but i think we all know how misleading those things can be. The pictures are all taken right after the grass is cut and freshly watered. its always a sunny day, or a snowy winter wonderland. The kids are all smiling and diverse: they got a white guy, Asian girl, and a black guy on the cover; just like how it is in all the Gap commercials. Everyone is studying on the grass or chatting over coffee in the student hangout area (which is always very clean). riite....i think i better visit the campuses.

I have a list of 12 schools now im looking into. well...i had twelve. This morning i was checkin out websites, and im crossing off William Patterson University (its in NJ...i dont like Jersey), Emerson College (too expensive and a bit too artsy), and St. Mary's College of Maryland (too small and WAAY to rural). Yup...so now i think im down to....9 schools....gotta cross off some more.

Its only wednesday...this week is going by so slow.... Actually, its not tat bad...im just tired. School was okay yesterday. I saw Valerie for the second time this year....mayn....i dont have classes w/ AnYbOdY!! Lets see....in psychology we were learning how to read palms and seeing horoscopes and seeing what our handwriting says about us...lol...that was funny. Everything else was so-so.

Danelle might not move! Yay! Her parents are still leaving, but she might be able to stay here w/ someone else. I hope she stays....lunch would be sooo boring w/out her! :)

Got an AP Calculus AB test today....aaaaaahhhhh! I studies....and i have her class last so theres plenty more time to review. Im confident about most of it, but there are about 3 things i still dont know. Must do good...tests in there are 70% of your grade, and that class is 2 periods...meaning if i get an E in the class, that's two E's on my reportcard. I tell ya, this double-period thing can realy screw you over!

Hey all. not much time to blog, so ill go fast. I probably wont get on in the evenings these next 2 weeks (except for on weekends), so look for me in the AM...usually between 7:40am and 8:30am.

How was school yesterday? ok. Nothin real good, but nothin real bad.. well. Except Danelle is moving to Chicago for sure in the first week of November. No!!! Out graduationg class is gonna be sooo small! So many pple got held back over these 4 years....and so many pple moved! Kristine....Boshwell....Ayisatu....now Danelle....i can't think of all the rest rite now.
All my classes are going good. In english we just started (and am almost finished) the play Antigone, by Sophicles. I like reading plays in there. Did i mention english is my favorite subject? although, phsychology is cool 2.

Now the big news: i started driving school yesterday! I didnt wanna go at all (sorry for complaining so much lindsay..lol) but it actually wasn't that bad. Im @ Blue Bird. The teacher is cool. The class wasn't boring (well...except for that boring vision video). And theres someone else from OHHS! Jet is there so i talked to him alot. I also talked a little to the guy sitting next to me. I think i might actually enjoy driving school....if ididnt have to come right home to homework!! Im a little tired this morning...got to bed some time after midnight, then woke up a few times between 3am and 4am cause...i dunno...i just woke up. I always stay up past 11pm....i make myself do that for 2 reasons: 1. getting prepared for those late nights at college next year and 2. i find i sleep better when i stay up longer. So i usually go to bed between 11pm and midnight..on average around 11:30. But im not good at staying up past 12, unless im at a party or somethin. Then i get tired in the morning. hopefully i wont fall asleep in class. I dont think im that tired though. well, 1 g2g so ttfn!

~ The Weekend Is OvEr ~
School tomorrow....blah. Driving school starts tomorrow...double blah. I dont know how im gonna do my chapter one for my RP project...its due right after driving school ends...so i got like...2 weekends to do it since my weekdays are busy. But....i have a wedding to go to one of those weekends...and i think im visiting a college on the other one...so im sorta screwed. someone shoot me now.... (joking...just joking!!)

I thought this weekend would suck. I had nothing planned and was just gonna do..whatever. But Friday night Shadonna called! I haven't seen her since her b'day party back in February!! So we made plans and Saturday we went to the mall and shopped. It was cool. We also saw Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star. It actually was pretty good! I mean...the family in it was a little too....Brady Bunchy...if u catch my drift...but it was real funny!!!! There were lotsa times when i was laughing out loud...i was even laughing so hard a couple of times that i was crying! it was funny. i liked it. Whoul i buy the DVD? probably not. Would i wanna see it again? hell yea! lol.
Then Shadonna stayed the night and we had pizza and watched t.v. and the Bourne Identity. We were real tired tho so we fell asleep soon after midnight. The Bourne Identity was one confusing movie! i dunno...i sorta dozed off a few times...but i was lost! NEwayz....then today we played video games (i tell u...the Simpsons: Road Rage on PS2 gets me soooo hyper!! lol) and monopoly til Shadonna had to go. Then i did my homework...omg! i actually think i got all my calculus right!! and thats bout it.

Im so proud of myself! Friday night i went through all my college mail, throwing it away or keeping the few that looked okay. I made a list of 13 schools from the list that look okay. The plan is now to research them and lower the list to about 5. Then i will visit those few...then hopefully know where to apply!! So i think ill do some of that now.

Oh! and w/ driving school, i dunno if ill be able to blog during the week...if i dont ill try to be on Saturday!
