::This has been an...interesting past 2 days...::

Yesterday was nice. We had our first SENIOR assembly!! yay! It was in the new gym!! OMG! its so nice! Its huge! And it has a cocession (sp?) stand and ticket booth and it is all nice and pretty! Heck..it looks 100 times better than our actual school!! At the assembly, we learned alot about senior stuff...class dues...prom...senior pictures...all that stuff. We also got our senior fundraiser. Im trying to sell at least $100 worth of stuff. I already sold 2 items...must do more. :) Besides that, the rest of the day was pretty normal.

Today, on the other hand....was pretty bad. A girl at school was hit by a car this morning right in the school parking lot/entrance/exit area. To make matters worse, she was pregnant. That was horrible. We found out about it 1st period. People like the prinicpal and other administrators kept coming on the announcements talking about morning assembleys are canceled due to an "incident." Then someone came on sounding all out of breath and said classes may be frozen because of a "medical emergency." I was in an outside building, and my class heard a helicopter. We were like...what is that?? We looked out the back door and saw like...3 ambulances...police....a fire truck...a helicopter...and basically the entire school security and administration force outside. We found out from a janitor that "some pregnant girl was hit by a car." Then we heard that the car had jumped the curb and hit her. im like...wait a minute...hold the phone....it jumped the curb??? Was this intentional?! How fast was the person going?! Later, in 3/4 period, we came in and saw that this one girl in my class wasn't there. It was because she was the girl that was hit. We had a moment of silence for prayer for her. I hope both she and the baby are okay. Im not sure who hit her...or why....whether it was intentional or not....how it happened...how she is....i dont know. But that made the day pretty somber.

I left school early for a doctor's appointment. Thats why im online now. Just a check up...in/out/and on w/ my life. :)

Yesterday was the first day of school in about 5 or 6 days...(wednesday had been the last day cause of the hurricane). Yesterday we had a 2-hour delay, so i slept in. School was great. All classes were just about 1/2 hour, except for the double periods, which were about an hour. It was soooo nice just having calculus for 1 period!!! yay! lol.
Didnt have much homework. I forgot to write down calculus homework, but after calling around i found out what it was. I b.s. it....we didn't learn the stuff yet, so i didnt know how to do it. Oh! Speaking of Cal....i got a 73% on our first test!! Yay! Thats alot better than last year...but i still gotta improve it...thats a double period, so i get 2 grades for it. Im cool with one C....but 2??? nah....that could hurt.
skool stuff: i was talkin 2 sharis on the phone yesterday, and found out that on Friday there will be a gamebell for the volleyball game! yay! AND its in the new gym! its so great to finally get a gym! i cant wait to see it.
Also, the swim team interest meeting is on Oct. 2. So spread the word....and join! lol.

I watched alot of t.v. last night. All those season premiers. Lets see...."8 Simple Rules" was great...love that show...it wont be the same w/out John Ritter though. he was cool. He's supposed to be in the first couple of episodes, but then i heard that they will have to kill him off in the show.
Then i watched...uh...oh yeah "Im With Her." I didnt like it. it was so cheesy. Its basically about a school teacher who gets bit in the @ss by this movie star's dog, and they meet. The movie star falls in love w/ him....he loves her too...but then the whole "Hollywood life" thing goes on...and hes like "im a teacher...i dont make much money....how can u like me...blah blah blah..." and she's like "thats not what i care about...maybe i like u cause ur a regular guy...blah blah blah..." it might have been able to work as a movie...but as a t.v. show...its just bad.
Then was "According to Jim." Now that show is funny...i like it. its worth watching.
Finally, i caught the end of "Less Than Perfect." From what i saw, it was pretty good...though ive seen the show before and it has sucked. That show goes between being funny and good to just being plain bad. So i dunno if ill stay watching it.

::WE GOT ELECTRICITY!!!!!::

Im soooo happy! We got power at about 1am this morning. After going about 4 days w/out power...we got it!! yay!!!!!!!! U have No IDEA how HAPPY i was to be able to take a HOT SHOWER!! And to listen to the radio!!! and to turn on the light and actually be able to SEE!!!

Today school was canceled cause of the electricity/hurricane issue. Now that the power is back on, things in my household have pretty much gotten back to normal. I did my RP project last night (we were so lucky to have a generator...tho we only really were able to use it on the fridge), so today im all clear. Enjoying my day off. :)

Saw the Emmys last night (again...the generator works wonders...even tho it was a tiny lil 3 inch screen t.v.). It was really funny. omg...too many comedians. haha. if u didnt have power to see it, catch the re-runs. very nice. :)

well, ima go looking at colleges...i REALLY must finalize my list....i am so behind! so ima do that and be back and YAY, WE HAVE POWER!!! :)

::day 4 of no power::

Having no electricity really sux. There is nothing to do! And i hate how dark it gets at night...i might as well go to bed at 8:00 every night, cause i can't see anything so i cant do anything.
We have a generator (which is how i am online now), but it is basically just used for the refridgerator. My dad hooked it to the computer this morning so i can start RP. stupid rp project. I hope we get an extension..how can we type it w/ no electricity? Its got me blown, cause stores around me are getting electricity, and some of my friends have it, but i still dont. Come on, Pepco!!!

Yesterday i got out of the house and went to my cousin's cousin's wedding (is that my 2nd cousin?? i dunno..) It was real nice. Pretty fun too. lol. At the reception i was w/ my cousin, my siser, then these two pple related to a bridesmaid, Rachael and Matt. Our table was sorta the 16-19 year old table. It was funny tho...Rachael is crazy! lol. we talked alot...and then the floating candles on the table kept going out, so Rachael wasted a whole book of matches trying to relight them. There was an open bar..but too bad it was guarded. Though, on each table, there was a bottle of some sort of Italian wine. We thought it was fake at first, but then we found the surgeon general's warning and was like Yeah!! its real!! lol. We were saving it for the toast, but then Larry, the bride's father was looking for wine cause one table didnt have it..and he saw us w/ a bottle and took it cause we were underage. But when it came time for the toast, we called Larry over and he filled all out glasses to shut us up. It was goood. Then, while pple started dancing, we stole a full bottle off the table next to us and finished that off. haha. So i had like...3 or 4 glasses...it was sooo good. i hate beer, but wine is cool. I danced a little...most were slow songs tho and no one else was dancing. There was the cha-cha slide, electric slide and the booty call tho..lol..those were fun. It was hilarious during the booty call, cause there were these 3 old ladies who were drunk...omg...it was funny. But it was a nice wedding...very cool.

After the wedding we went to my cousin's grandfather's house (also the bride's grandfather's house) to visit him. He just found out he had cancer, and the doctor says he may go any day now. I hadn't seen him since right around when school let out. so we went to say hi. omg. I didnt even recognize him. He looked sooo bad. His skin was all greenish/yellowish and his eyes were all glassy and sunken in. He just looked so sick. I didnt know cancer did that to you. Pretty much everyone at the wedding was stopping by the house to say hi. It was horrible how he was so sick around the time of the wedding. It was his first grandchild that got married. But he talked more than i expected, and he was most worried about whether the wedding went well. So that was nice...

Then we finally returned home 2 our house w/ no power.

And today, my dad hooked the computer to the generator for a littlw bit so i can do rp....which im doing now. so i better do it. peace.
