Yay! 3-day weekend!! Friday was no school...some sort of teacher in-service day or somethin i guess. I was gonna go check out College Park, but ended up not going. I didnt really care...im applying there anyways...if i get in ill check it out.

Instead, i did some homework. I did my rough copy of my English paper. Its okay...i found some grammatical errors...but its just a rough draft.

I also went to the library. Haven't been there in a long time....funny how the internet sort of takes over. I found a video on Shakespeare's "Henry V" for another English assignment. Then, I went looking for books on crash barriers for my RP project...the annotated bibliography is due Monday. Would u believe it?? There are NO BOOKS on crash barriers/highway barriers/road barriers/road saftey (excluding drunk driving and drugs)/or anything related to my project!! I was so blown!! We were supposed to find some books! Not all our sources can be from the internet. Then, the librarian and I ran a magazine search...but the only articles about crash barriers are over 5 years old, and none of the library branches have them anymore. So...yeah...im bout to Google some more...i need 10 more sources.

Today is gonna be fun. I went to the mall this morning. I blew $30-somethin bucks on a new nice pair of jeans and a blue sweat jacket. They both are cute. But now, i have about $17 to my name. $17 bucks!!!! I need a job!!! I can't wait til the summer!!! Im never gonna be able to drive, cause i can't pay for car insurance or gas money!! AAHHH!!

Oh well...this evening im going to a party: Danelle's family's going away party. Her family is moving to Chicago, but luckily Danelle is staying here and livin w/ her godmother cause she wants to finish high school w/ us. YaY!! so im lookin foreward to that...

I started my college applications yesterday. Felt sooo PrOuD!!! lol. Here r my due dates:
College Park part 1 is due Nov. 1, part 2 is due Dec. 1.
Frostburg is due Dec. 1.
University of Delaware part 1 is due Dec. 1, part 2 is due Jan 15.
Towson is due Dec. 1.

Im almost done part 1 for College Park, so i should be able to mail that out this week. Im also almost dont Delaware's part 1, but im a little confused on part of it, so i think its about time i say hi to my guidance counselor. lol.

Hey all...its wednesday!! It feels like a thursday tho, cause we dont have school friday. yay! lol. Today was a decent day. We had swim team conditioning for the last time this week in the morning. It was easy...just weightlifting...and it was cut short. Usually its from about 7:15am to 8:30am, but today it ended at 8am cause coach had to go to a faculty meeting. So after it ended, i went w/ Hope to McDonalds and got some food (havent had a real breakfast in 4ever!! lol) then i wandered the hallways with various friends til 9:30.

The school day itself was pretty routine. I FINALLY was able to recite the part in "Macbeth" we had to memorize. I was sooo blown that we all got messed up yesterday...I KNEW IT!!! but NEwayz, thats over. But now we are writing some big paper and we got to chose the play/story to use from a list....i cant think of how to write it. Im thinking of changing my story...cause im so sick of Macbeth. i dunno....writers block...usually i have no problem whipping up a great paper, but the past few days have been so difficult...AAAHH!!

The teacher went off on our class in Productions. Those juniors just never shut up!! So we had to do stupid book work. darnit...

We were also supposed to have a game bell tomorrow, so we all would have gotten out of school early to see a football game. Buuut.......now its canceled!! According to a teacher, it was canceled cause of the 15 fights we had last week, 3 or more fights we've had so far this week, 3 threats made on teachers' lives and more than $2000 in damages done to teachers' cars. All this in 2 weeks. Not to mention, i heard Friday last week this guy was arrested by one of our school's cops cause apparently his brother or cousin or someone was shot, and he was goin crazy saying he'd shoot whoever did it and was threatening to shoot up the school. I tell ya...what is our world coming to??? Y are pple bein so stupid?!! We've had SO MANY fights this year so far...and its still just the first quarter!! Now....fighting isn't anything new to the school...it happens all the time...but it seems like everyday someone else gets jumped or is in a fight. Its just crazy.

So...yeah...im sorta blown bout that....o well... I stayed afterschool for tutoring in calculus agan. I think its helping...i just hope i pass the test we will have on Monday....i MUST keep my C in there!!! Mayn...math just ISNT my subject!! Anything else, im straight....math..no...

Someone please tell me...why the heck did i take Calculus this year????

okay...this is the 3rd time in the last 10 minutes i am trying to blog...my freakin computer actin up again....darnit...

NEwayz...nothin really new...swim team conditioning...so fun...i LOVE swim team!! We found out about a new fundraiser we are doing this year. We usually just do a "Swim-a-thon," but this year we will do that, then also do a "Bowl-a-thon," in which w/ all go bowling one night and get pledges of money for how many pins we can knock down. dont ask. coaches' idea. I think it will be really fun, tho i dont think it will bring in much money. o well. ill work on that later.

Guess what people!! We got new vending machines! From what i hear, our school s trying to follow suit w/ the whole "Make America Not Fat" dilemma, and get healthy. I heard they are planning to get rid of the soda vending machinesand just keep the Dole juice and FruitWorks ones. They got nice new water machines (Aquafina). I dont care much for Aquafina. I dont care what pple say...all water does NOT taste the same. Deer Park is the best! lol...i also like Polar Springs. Aquafina is towards the bottom of my list, but trust me...when im thirsty...ill drink it!! :)

The school was sooo stupid about where they placed the machines, though!! Picture this: Yesterday, i went to go to the restroom between classes. I navigate my way through the hallway and turn the sharp corner into the girls restroom and run SMACK into a tall blue box: aka, one of the new vending machines.
YES! They ACTUALLY put one INSIDE the girl's bathroom!! dont ask...but now i guess when they catch a guy in the girl's restroom nowadays, he can just claim to be buying a drink. isn't our administration smart?? (sarcasm...)

The other new machines are in less odd, though equally irritating places. They are all in high-traffic areas of the school. They are placed where alot of the hallways intersect, or right t the entrance to the stairs. I mean...our school is overcrowded enough....must we crowd the little space we have w/ vending machines?? I tell ya...walking through our hallways is like driving through D.C. in rush hour traffic. On a Monday. In the rain. And the left lane is blocked by an accident. And the traffic lights are burnt out. Yup. Welcome to high schoool. lol.

Maybe i wouldnt be so bitter about the vending machines, if i found them useful. Well so far, i find them to be a pain. Their purpose is to provide WATER...rite?? Well...i was thirsty this morning after practice. Soooo...i am on the 3rd floor of the school. The closest drink machine is a new water machine in the girls bathroom. I go there t buy a drink and find that...(dun dun dn- suspenseful music..) the machine is turned off. Still thirsty, i walk downstairs to the main floor and find another new water machine. YES!! It is on!!! But NO!!! Everything is sold out. I go straight down the hallway to the last new machine i have seen: once again, it is sold out.

Question: whats the point of having more vending machines, if ur not going to restock them??

NEwayz, giving up on my water quest, i go to the little hallway where the offices are and go to my good old soda machine...and find it is off too. Im am forced to go to my last resort: the cafeteria. Where i buy a very overpriced fruit drink for $1.25. My quest for a drink toom a good 25 minutes. Nice way to spend my morning, dont u think??

hey all. the weekend is almost over. Yesterday i went to a wedding shower. It ws actually pretty fun. Everyone was actin slow and we played all these stupid but funny games....like making wedding dresses out of tissue paper....and some other stuff. And there was lotsa good food. I talked to lotsa pple...it was cool.

Today i did my english homework. I didnt do the classwork from friday yet tho, cause i left my book at school. im mad at that. daym....what is wrong w/ me this year??? I havent even been doing lotsa work....last year was HELL compared to this year, but i actually liked last year alot better than this year. This year is just sorta boring...and college/car insurance/RP is stressing me out...and i DONT SEE ANY OF MY FRIENDS ANYMORE!!! so it sorta sux. o well...its actually not that bad...but yeah...so i have to do that work tomorrow...

I went to Roosevelt island and walked my dog. like that place...its a nice pretty little shady spot to walk. And u got a great view of lotsa places in D.C...the Capitol.....Georgetown....the river..its nice...like that place....i love D.C...

I need to start RP. I might go looking for materials this afternoon...i keep either A). Putting it off or B). Forgetting about it. Not good. Must start it.

I think ill do that now......maybe......ok.....im going......now....c u all later....

Oh yeah! Who saw the Red Sox/Yankees game???? I like Red Sox...so im a little mad they lost....but o well. He threw the Yankee's old guy!! haha!! That was sooo funny!! Nice fight! lol
