omg...i am soo tired...

Today i had to wake up at like 7:00am (hey..thats early for a saturday..) cause of a dentist appointment.
Then, from noon to about 2pm, i was at the Swim-a-thon. Thats the fundraiser our swim team does every year. We get plegdes and donations, then swim until our pool time is up. Half the money we earn goes to my high school swim team, the other half goes to a charity: this year we are helping the special olympics. I swam 200 laps. i was happy...i swam 2 hours nonstop and did 200 laps...thats like....5,000 yards. wow. and i wasn't even tired afterwards...my only problem was that i had a leg cramp off and on, and my fingers kept cramping up. that was pretty good though.

Unfortunately, all the swimming gave me a headache..i mean a BAD headache. I got home and was like...daym...any noise or lights was making it worse. I began packing my things for my trip, but then lied down cause it hurt so bad...i mean...it even hurt to just hold my head up or turn to the side.

so i tried to sleep but it wasnt working...but after swallowing a mess of advil it started to fade.

I just finished packing. We leave for South Carolina at like 5am tomorrow moring....8 hour drive...ugh.
I might not have access to the internet or phone down there, so to all my loyal readers....i might not blog again til friday or after. ill try to get on before then tho....interent is a neccessity...

hey all!! THANKSGIVING BREAK IS FINALLY HERE!!! YAYZ!!

I am so happy...chill time starts now...

Today was a pretty laid back day. Had a fire drill this morning...we didn't know we were gonna have one so the rumors were flying that there was actually a fire and that it was a bomb threat and all that good stuff. but im pretty sure it was just a fire drill.

all my classes went by pretty uneventfully...has a quiz in both AP psychology and in calculus...omg...calculus is IMPOSSIBLE!! i was so lost....i know i failed. And it made me even more mad, cause there was an honor roll assembly for last year's smart people from 2:30pm to 4:10. I wanted to go cause i was on honor roll, but i couldn't cause i had to take that daym quiz. Even worse, while i was trying to concentrate on the quiz i could hear the band playing from the window. so...yeah...i was blown...i hate math...

English was great. We finished watching Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Thats a good movie....funny...great stuff. Then, we started watching this other comedy, called "The Producers." It was very weird but funny. Though, we only got to watch like 1/2 hour of that before the bell rang.

In production systems i got to use the big power tools again....i like using them...and it makes the class go by faster. Some days can just be soo boring in there...

Had swim practice this morning....it was @ 7am instead of the normal 7:30am time because of a scheduling problem at the pool. We ended up having to share the pool with some senior citizens, so our team only had 3 lanes. At first it was okay, but then lots of my team showed up late, and soon there were like 9 or so pple in each lane so it was crowded. It was a good practice tho...i liked it...

that was pretty much my day....ill be back later and blog, so yeah...im out

today was actually pretty good....RP i talked 2 Virginia...Psych. was okay....

In English we started watching "A Midsummer Night's Dream"...its pretty funny...i like it. So that is a good class. He also returned our papers today. He said he really liked mine, so that made me happy...i did a remake of a short story, "The Story of an Hour" from this other character, Josephine's perspective. i might post it sometime...

lunch was okay....production systems was okay...i used the big table saw again...i like using that machine...

Calculus we are still working on impossible word problems. they are hard!! Some of them don't even have any numbers in the problem, but u are supposed to get a number as an anwser!! i am so lost...and we got a quiz tomorrow...so ima study for that soon. Mayn...teachers turn in progress report grades that tuesday we come back from break...meaning i got like 2 or 3 days to change my grade..which can't happen. And i know i have an E in calculus...2 E's actually, since its a double period...i hate doubles..they REALLY screw u over...
Math is SO not my subject...i can't stnd it. What possessed me to take Calculus??? Why??? What the heck was i thinkin??? the only thing going for me is that i dont need that class to graduate...though i do need it if i wanna graduate w/ science and tech. program status...which is something i wanna do. i mean...its not that important to me...but i had to take and pass that stupid test to get into the program...and then i had to put up w/ all those science and other classes that the program required that i hated...so ima graduate science and tech dammit!!!! sorry...got a tad carried away....im just blown...ive never had this much trouble w/ a class before. I saw my first "C" on my report card last year...so far i've gotten 2 "C's" in my life, the rest "A's" and "B's". im cool w/ C's...i mean, thats average...but my parents havent seen a D or E yet, and i really....really dont want them to see one. Im trying to predict their reaction and...nope...nothin is coming to me. So i must hold onto my C....

mayn...i was gonna try to call McClain again tonight. I really miss her...she was one of my best friends last year....then she had to move to f*ing Michigan.... And i havent really talked to her in awhile...but i gotta study...i CANT have an E in calculus...so i better study for the quiz 2nite...ill call McClain tomorrow.

The week is a lil more than halfway over!! yayz!! im ready for Thanksgiving break!!

Psych. was okay....English was cool. There was a student from College Park there observing the class. We read a good essay in English, then we turned in and read eachothers writing assignments that we did. I had re-wrote the short story "The Story of an Hour" from another character, Josephine's point of view. I thought my story was pretty good tho a lil too long. OMG...Mike's story...it was hilarious. I dunno how it tied in w/ the assignment, but it was all about sex. haha...it was HILARIOUS!! Everythin was a metaphor....he was saying stuff like he put on his "raincoat" and whipped out his "big bottle of gatorade" then entered the "cave." It was called "Becoming a Man." omg...it was sooo funny...

Lunch was okay....some more pple there cause a few teachers were missing so their students just went to lunch. So Sarah joined our little group today...

Production systems was boring as hell today...did nothing....there was nothing to do or talk about....stared at the floor....blah blah...

Calculus is so frusterating...i think i get what we are doing...then it turns out that im lost...aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh...i hate math soo much..

We started that stupid reading thing in calculus today....nice lil break...

Had swim team practice in the gym this morning...it was easy...running laps and medicine balls...oh joy...

It rained alot today....they canceled all after school activities cause of a tornado watch/heavy rain. it actually wasnt that bad...just some rain..nothin big...

i feel so lazy....stalling til Smallville comes on...thats my wednesday night show...

Its tuesday...can't wait til Thanksgiving break! A whole week off school! oh yes!!

Today was the first swim practice for the year at the pool. i was dreading it a bit cause i thought i would find it to be very hard. It actually wasn't that bad. I mean, sure it was a workout..but it wasn't hard. i love swim team..lol.

I got a ride to school w/ Daniel after practice. car ride was funny...omg..those guys are crazy...but i was practically fearing for my life the whole time lol. Hope, ima ride w/ u from here on out. :)

1st period we still had this sub lady. Avondet's final day was Friday last week...he is no longer our RP teacher. They screwed him over badly. They took away his retirement pay, put a salary cap on him, but then paid him over the salary cap for a little bit. But then, they billed him like $4,000 or somethin since THEY overpaid him. He said he was basically living off like $125 a week, which no one (especially one w/ a family) can live off of. so he was basically forced to quit teaching here and find a new job. i was mad at that...he was one of my good teachers this year!! WHYYY must this school year suck so much??!!

Psychology was okay today...i like that class...
In AP English we spent most of the periods delivering the school newspaper to classes (even though this is an ENGLISH class, and he has a whole other class for NEWSPAPER...doesn't that sound a bit odd to u??), and moving desks. Our school FINALLY bought some new desks to replace a few real crappy ones, so we had to drag our desks all the way from the back of the third floor to a temporary outside, then get a new desk and drag it all the way upstairs. it wasn't that bad...but this day was a waste in english...

Lunch was....pretty bad...lol. Too much shouting about very "R-rated" stuff that i really, really didn't feel like hearing about. So me and Danelle left lunch like 15 minutes early and hung out in the halls. Actually, we did have a place to go: the fundraiser stuff had come in, and we went to the class to pick it up, but the teacher was teaching and we didn't interrupt, so we decided to wait til the bell rang. I tell u...it is very eary to avoid getting caught in the halls. The security people i guess are assigned posts at different places. well, they just basically stand there, so if u find a hallway or stairwell w/out an administrator or cop there, ur straight cause they aren't gonna move from their post. just a little tip! lol.

6th period was pretty annoying. its usually pretty boring, cause we dont do much: its a tech class and alot of what we are doing only requires like 3 pple to work on it. well, it was boring for awhile. then, there is this one junior in there...mayn he is so irritating. NEwayz, he was pissing me off cause he had these scissors (sp? u kno..the things u cut w/...) and acted like he was gonna cut my hair, and i told him to quit it. Then, he was like "what would u do if i did cut ur hair?" and i was like don't even play w/ me....and then i turned to see what we were supposed to be working on, then he held up the scissors and snipped w/ them right behing my head like he was gonna cut my hair. Well, i was sorta in a bad mood so i sorta snapped and caught his arm before he could try 2 cut my hair and was like "ill break ur f*ing arm off.." so...yeah...i was sorta pissed...i try not to curse...well...at least say the f-word cause i dont like that word...but some pple in that class piss me off. today actually was a pretty good day in there besides that incident...its just that boy can act so freakin childish and retarded!! im like...grow up...daym...i feel sorry for ur parents! id kill myself if he was my child! i am dead serious! THATS how annoying he is!

7th and 8th was calculus. i thought i was finally understanding the stuff, but then i came home and did the homework and am lost again. How does she make it look so easy??? how?! we didnt do much in there though, cause the class next door was running wild...they've had a sub for about 2 weeks now...not that it makes any difference...they walk all over their real teacher too!

And that was my school day. basically. oh! mayn...our superintendent is soooo stupid!!! okay...this is one of the dumbest things i've heard: He wants each school in the county to do this: for the last 5 minutes of each class, everyone is supposed to read a book or something for enjoyment. This is supposedly to help make people want to read. i think its stupid. first of all...why should we have to take the time out of some classes to read, when the classes are subjects like math and science?? Secondly, read for 5 minutes in each class?? Thats about 35 minutes a day excluding lunch, cause they sure as hell aren't gonna be able to make us read in there. But 5 minutes is NOT enough time to read a book! You will read about a page, then it will be time to move to your next class. Then, u will for get that page u read, and have to re-read it the next time and so on. Personally, when i read, i like to read uninterrupted for a good 1/2 hour at least. 5 minutes will not work for me. whose bright idea was this again????

lol This was a great weekend tho. saturday i went to the movies and mall w/ meery, danelle, my sister and myself. it was great. We saw "Elf." omg..that movie is HILARIOUS!!! it is great...really. Its one of those family, feel good movies, but it is also very very funny...we all really liked it. I could say funny qoutes from that thing all day...it was great...i HIGHLY recommend it.

We had fun. We wandered around the mall and shopped (well..watched Meery shop...haha) and talked and hung out...great day. It was funny...theres already a Santa Clause at the mall to take pictures with...i tell ya...the kids are gonna find out he's fake, cause its not even DECEMBER yet!!! lol. NEwayz, we are riding up the escalator next to where santa is, and Danelle is all like "OMG!! Santa!! I KNOW HIM! i KNOW HIM!!!" (from the movie) everyone was lookin like...what?? it was hilarious!!

Yeah...it was cool. and we ate popeyes and had mcflurries...nice day. o yeah! and we each earned $1! At the mall we volunteered to watch a commercial for a movie comin out called "Paycheck" and then we just had to say whether we would definately see the movie, probably see it, maybe see it, or not see it based on the commercial. that was sorta cool.

OMG tho....we were seeing so many pple at the mall!! I tell ya...St. Charles is like the new Oxon Hill mall. lol. we talked w/ Meagan and Vee at the food court (they were takin shots of vinegar, lol), and we ran into Sarah and talked to her....and Marvin and Stacy and Constance and like....20 or so others..i was like..dang! haha it was cool tho...great day...must do this more often.

Today i went to our last unofficial swim practice. only 4 of us...where the heck r the rest of u?? it okay tho..we got alot done, and WE wont be the ones DYING on tuesday when swim season starts!! ha ha! lol...lemme stop..
