We have hit the weekend...only 2 more days til school again...well..now its more like one day...

Today was a nice Saturday. I slept til like 9am, then I went to my old elementary school and practiced parallel parking for a few hours in their parking lot. I think i got it...i only messed up once, but I was able to correct it easily. I take my drivers test for the first time on Thursday. I don't like driving, but I'm determined to get my license. I want to be able to go to places on my own...I hate depending on parents or friends for rides. Hopefully I will pass...

After parking for awhile, I finally settled down to do my math homework...I hate calculus... It was only 4 problems, but they were fairly complicated so it took me an hour just to get through 3 of them.
At 2pm, I took a break and met up w/ Jonathan, McClain and Shaunte (sp?) at Red Lobster. That was great. McClain had left our school to attend this artsy school in Michigan, so i haven't seen her in awhile...i think its been about 3 months. So that was a nice get together. And Shaunte graduated last year and now attends Norfolk State, so it was nice seeing her again too. Jonathan still goes to my school, but hes not in any of my classes...come to think of it...he has never been in any of my classes.. how did we meet? lol. NEwayz, it was great. good food....mm..love their cheesy biscuts..lol..we got like...4 baskets of em haha. And we caught up on whats goin on....w/ school...etc. And we talked about our past years...all the funny times...lol. it was real fun.

I got home a few hours later and went back to calculus homework. That last problem annoyed me: it looked real easy, but then it actually was hard and i couldn't figure it out. Math is soooo NOT my subject...

I just emailed my mentor for RP. I feel bad...i haven't given him an update on my project in the longest time...probably since september. I wouldn't be surprosed if he forgot about me and my project, or if he quit being my mentor.. I just sent him my abstract as a lil update...ill get him more detailed stuff later...which reminds me...i must find my floppy disk...

Now im just wasting time. Internet...how i love thee...lol. And i've been reading the final Harry Potter book thats out now. Great book. I love Harry Potter...that lady is a genius! lol. I think the 4th book was my favorite, but im not done the 5th yet, and it is really good. Im about 3/4 the way done it...its so good...might go back to it....

Hey everybody!! Im baaack! :)

Happy Thanksgiving pple! Hope u all liked it. I had left w/ my family this past Sunday to my grandparents place in Myrtle Beach, SC for Thanksgiving. It was pretty good. I mean...summers there are a WHOLE lot better...but it was still nice. Its a travel park, so the first few days the place was like a ghost town, or a retirement community...not many pple at all....but then as it got closer to Thanksgiving...like 2 days before the actual holiday, the place filled up and families were everywhere. I spent most of my time taking long walks on the beach...or sometimes riding my bike....and i went swimming a few times...so hopefully i won't be outa shape when i return to swim team practice. :)
I also went shopping at the mall there and some other outlet shopping centers, and we went and played miniature golfing at this one real cool place once. So that was fun.
Then of course Thanksgiving was nice....turkey and cranberry sauce and green beans and mashed AND sweet potatoes and rolls....then the pecan pie and my FaVoRiTe: cherry cheesecake! mmm... i think i ate a tad too much...stomach was really killin me after the cheesecake...o well....mmmm...

We just got home today. I didn't have access to a computer down there, which explains why i haven't blogged since...uh...saturday i think..
I called McClain when i got back...i haven't talked to her (besides a few times online..) since Iyen's party back in...oh...late August or early september! Shes in Michigan...she really likes her school there and all that good stuff. hmm...wish i could say the same here. Actually, this year isn't too bad...its just a little rougher than i expected my senior year to be...too much drama and crazy stuff going on...o well...its not too bad i guess...

By the way McClain...u said u were reading my blog, y didnt u sign my guestbook yet???? sign it sign it sign it! lol...i like when pple sign my guestbook...makes me feel like im actually writing this for someone...like someone actually takes the time to read this... :)
